After $120M deal, company wants to add hundreds of employees in Richardson

Thanks to a new opportunity in the orthodontics space, a company with a presence in Richardson has hired dozens of people this year with plans to eventually reach 300 workers by 2021.
Dentsply Sirona Inc. (Nasdaq: XRAY) is headquartered in Pennsylvania and earned nearly $4 billion in revenue last year.
The company acquired Richardson-based OraMetrix for $120 million a year ago. At the time, Dentsply Sirona said OraMetrix was profitable and earning approximately $20 million in annual revenue.
