One such company joining our ranks is Associa, a tech-driven community association and property management firm that will move its headquarters to Richardson, invest $55.5M, and bring up to 1,000 jobs. GEICO is expanding its Richardson campus to include a new commercial insurance regional operation hub and 500 new positions. Childress Engineering Services and Halff are also expanding in Richardson, bringing additional jobs and investment.

Proximity to The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), an R1 research institution, provides a solid foundation for innovation in the health, medical, and life sciences. Engineering firms based in the city specialize in developing digital imaging, next-gen medical devices, molecular diagnostics, biologics, and regenerative products.

Companies such as Austin Circuit Design, Allegro MicroSystems, and the Texas Blockchain Council chose Richardson for its concentration of tech companies and talent pipeline from UTD. CyrusOne has invested nearly $80M to modify a 125,000 square-foot facility into a data center.
