With more than 10,000 workers in the project, Richardson’s new CityLine development will have shops, restaurants, a hotel and apartments.

Children’s Health and Texas Health Resources will begin occupying the new medical building which is nearing completion at the southwest corner of Plano Road and Bush Turnpike. And there will also be a new medical facility to serve employees for State Farm Insurance, Raytheon and other employers in the 186-acre campus.

The 3-story, 50,000-square-foot medical office building will provide a variety of medical services to the area. Austin Commercial built the project.

A spokesman for Children’s said that it will serve pediatric patients out of the new facility.

“We are subleasing 10,000 square feet from Texas Health Resources at the site,” said Children’s spokesman Randy Sachs. “We expect to start seeing patients there in October.”

State Farm Insurance began moving the first of about 8,000 employees in to CityLine at the start of 2015. Raytheon will move about 1,700 workers into its new campus at CityLine later this year.

Construction is almost done on three office towers for State Farm while development continues on a fourth high-rise for the insurance company.

Construction is also underway on hundreds of apartments, an Aloft Hotel and a shopping center anchored by Whole Foods Market.

Developer KDC is building CityLine, which is expected to cost $1.5 billion when it’s done.
