City of Richardson recognized by nationwide coalition for air quality efforts

Richardson received a bronze award Dec. 17 from the Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities Coalition.
  
According to its website, the coalition is a nationwide network of cities helping to ensure energy and economic security in the U.S. The awards, given on an annual basis, recognize a city’s efforts to reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency of fleet vehicles. This is Richardson’s fifth year in a row to win the Fleet Recognition Award, according to the city.
