Richland College and Associa team up to train 200 employees though Skills Development Fund grant

Last year, Richland College received a $449,988 Skills Development Fund Grant from the Texas Workforce Commission to train Associa employees on-site at their new Richardson location, and since then over 200 employees have completed 35 classes through the grant. Surprisingly, less than 5% of Richardson companies know of grants such as these, targeted specifically to assist businesses in job training and furthering their employees’ education.

RISD High Schools Ranked Among Top in U.S.

All four Richardson ISD high schools were recently ranked among the top 7% in the United States in the recent U.S. News & World Report Best High School rankings.

Work to start on new $54M UT Dallas town center development in Richardson

The University of Texas at Dallas is getting ready to start construction on a $54 million town center-inspired development at the northwest corner of Synergy Park Boulevard and Floyd Road, which will bring on-campus housing and retail to students. The development, known as Northside at UT Dallas, will help support a growing student population.
