OmniSYS, a company that processes Medicare and Medicaid claims for pharmacies, plans to add more than 200 jobs and open an office in Richardson as the firm benefits from increased government scrutiny of medical payments and the rising prevalence of diabetes.

Richardson is home to last year’s two largest office leases, and investors are taking notice – it’s been called one of the top three submarkets in North Texas situated for growth.

The 440-unit Breckinridge Point apartments in Richardson have sold to JRK Property Holdings.

Raytheon is building a radar system for the U.S. Army in North Texas. Much of the work is being done in Richardson.

Freese and Nichols, a statewide leader of engineering, architecture and environmental services with offices in Richardson, was presented with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
