REDP Launches a New Web Site

Jan 16, 2011

The Richardson ED Partnership launched a brand new website with special features to assist site selection consultants, commercial real estate brokers, entrepreneurs and local businesses.

  • Site Selectors – This section includes data and information for potential prospects, consultants and commercial real estate brokers considering a Richardson property for a relocating or expanding company. Data includes relocation assistance, incentives, major employers, a map room, overview of Richardson’s commercial real estate, tax rates, transportation, utilities and workforce/labor data.

  • Entrepreneurs – This is a new section that includes information on Richardson’s ecosystem for entrepreneurs and a listing of area resources for start-ups.

  • Key Properties/Property Search – Another new feature highlighting key properties now available in Richardson. There also is a link to the CoStar Group’s Showcase, a property search feature.

  • Existing Business & Industry Services – This part of the new site was developed to assist local business-to-business connections. It includes details about Richardson’s industry clusters, international companies, major employers, retail and restaurant development in Richardson, Richardson Chamber membership directory and a listing of local purchasing offices for some of our public employers and area organizations.

  • News/Videos/Social Media – This new section includes videos with long-time Richardson company executives talking about why a Richardson location has been important to their operations. Weekly “Tweets” and link notices on REDP’s Facebook page have been added.

  • “Why Richardson” Overview – Available in seven languages, this new feature is at the top of the home page. Click on the flag symbols for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Hebrew and Spanish versions of why a Richardson location is a great choice for an international company.

These new features are part of REDP’s economic development strategy to be the definitive resource on Richardson for prospective companies, local companies, entrepreneurs and all those who live and work in Richardson.
