New Restaurants

Fish & Fizz is an authentic fish and chips restaurant that opened in early August on N. Coit Rd. It has already garnered 1,600 likes on Facebook. The menu includes British-traditional dishes such as chicken liver parfait, but the house favorite remains fish and chips, which account for 90% of sales.

EnjoyMint is a new Thai restaurant offering a minimalistic and trendy atmosphere. As a fast-casual concept, orders are made via self-serve kiosks, making for an efficient experience. Don’t miss their #PadThaiThursday BOGO promotion during October.

Ranitas y Grill is Richardson’s newest authentic-Mexican restaurant. It features private rooms for pool, ping pong, and Xbox, allowing guests to enjoy both food and fun.

Bulldog Katsu is a Japanese-fusion restaurant that specializes in katsu—deep-fried meat coated in egg, flour, and panko breadcrumbs. It opened in July near N. Plano Rd and Campbell Rd.

Pepper Trade Café offers a unique mix of East Asian and Middle Eastern dishes inspired by cuisines found along the ancient pepper trade routes.

Tacqui brings a Japanese twist to street food, art, and culture. The restaurant serves tacos with rich Japanese-inspired sauces and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Fire Star Sushi and Hibachi is a new casual dining option in Richardson offering lunch and dinner service in a relaxed atmosphere.

UT Dallas: Phase 2

Phase 2 of Northside at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) is now complete. It adds 323 new apartment units and 900 beds to Northside. The university is expected to add another 6,600 square feet of retail space soon.
