UT Dallas leaders lend support to brokers at September Broker-Developer Luncheon

Oct 3, 2012

The fall semester kicked off at UT Dallas last month, and university leaders shared their enthusiasm with the Richardson commercial real estate community at the September Broker-Developer luncheon. Nearly 100 brokers and developers gathered at 3000 Waterview Pkwy. – a 90,556-square-foot available building adjacent to UT Dallas, owned by luncheon sponsor iStar Financial and leased by Peloton Commercial.

Speakers President Dr. David Daniel, Vice President for Administration Dr. Calvin Jamison and Clinical Professor of Real Estate and Director of Real Estate Programs Dr. Randall Guttery addressed the topic, “How to Leverage the Marketing of Your Richardson Properties with UT Dallas.” Chuck Sellers of Peloton moderated the presentation.

The group updated the brokers on the university’s increasing academic standards, latest campus expansions and renovations and the recently introduced Real Estate Program in the Naveen Jindal School of Management. The leaders encouraged the commercial real estate community to build relationships with UT Dallas to better market their Richardson properties and engage students in the Real Estate program.

A special thanks to iStar Financial and Page Southerland Page, the 2012 Broker-Developer Series Sponsor, for sponsoring the event. The Richardson Broker-Developer Series is a quarterly luncheon event showcasing Richardson buildings and organized by the Richardson Economic Development Partnership. The event is open only to commercial real estate brokers, developers and invited guests.
