Thanks to a new opportunity in the orthodontics space, a company with a presence in Richardson has hired dozens of people this year with plans to eventually reach 300 workers by 2021.

RICHARDSON, Texas May 23, 2019 Hedera Hashgraph, an enterprise-grade public ledger designed to have highly diversified governance and the most distributed consensus at scale, has leased 11,344 square feet in Richardson, Texas 3400 at CityLine, in conjunction with council member Swirlds, for its new global headquarters. The dynamically growing company expects to take occupancy by fall 2019. In addition to its current Richardson location, Hedera has offices in New York and San Francisco.

According to a new ranking by the American Enterprise Institute, Dallas-Fort Worth is the best metro in the U.S. for science, technology, engineering, and math jobs. Not only does the region have numerous STEM jobs, but it also has high employment growth and relative affordability.
