Richardson-based Fossil, Inc. reported a second-quarter net income increase of 12 percent, citing strong wholesale sales, especially in Asia.

The Methodist
Health System board of directors has approved a
facility expansion plan of $120 million to add a 125-bed acute care hospital at
the Methodist Richardson Medical Center Bush/Renner location.
Scheduled to
open in fall 2014, the hospital
will be
located at the southeast corner of Renner Road and Bush Turnpike in Richardson.

DataBank Holdings Ltd., a Dallas-based data center and colocation provider, will develop a data center at Digital Realty’s North Dallas-Richardson campus.

Cassidian Communications, a telecom firm that works in the public-safety arena, has announced plans to move its Land Mobile Radio business and about 40 employees from Frisco to Richardson this summer.
